Our 30-bed unit currently consists of: Intensivists and Advance Practice Providers providing 24 hours a day/7 days a week/365 days per year management of cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, cardiology, interventional and mechanical circulatory support patients; including those who have undergone cardiac surgical procedures such as CABG, valve surgery, LVADS, ECMO, and cardiac transplantation. Actively participates in daily rounds on patients during post-operative phases of care, performs assessments, and makes medical management plan revisions in collaboration with physicians, consulted services, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams.
