This position plays an important role in maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming guest areas while assisting housekeeping staff with daily operations.</p><p>The ideal candidate has previous hotel or hospitality experience, strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, lobby areas, restrooms, elevators, stairwells, and back-of-house areas.</li><li>Assist housekeeping staff with removing linens, collecting trash, and restocking supplies.</li><li>Deliver towels, linens, amenities, and other requested items to guest rooms or departments.</li><li>Keep housekeeping closets, carts, storage areas, and workspaces clean and organized.</li><li>Remove trash, debris, and used linens from assigned areas.</li><li>Assist with light cleaning and housekeeping support as needed.</li><li>Respond to guest and team member requests in a professional and timely manner.</li><li>Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.</li><li>Report maintenance concerns, damages, safety issues, or lost items to management.</li><li>Support the team during high occupancy, busy periods, and special events.</li><li>Work overtime when needed based on business demands.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li>At least 2 years of previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred.</li><li>Previous experience as a houseman, housekeeping attendant, janitorial worker, porter, or hospitality support team member is helpful.</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.</li><li>Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.</li><li>Must be available to work weekends.</li><li>Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment.</li></ul><h2>Physical Requirements</h2><p>This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:</p><ul><li>Standing and walking for extended periods of time.</li><li>Bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting as needed.</li><li>Carrying linens, supplies, trash, and other housekeeping-related items.</li><li>Working in guest areas, service areas, and back-of-house spaces.</li></ul><br/><br/><br/>#hc245642
