Develop patterns and form sheet metal into cylindrical, tapered, conical, and irregular shapes; apply radial-line and parallel-line development; fabricate seams (dovetail, set-in-bottom, burred-bottom, wire, lock); fabricate templates; assemble stainless steel, black iron, galvanized iron, terne-plate, copper sheet, magnesium, honeycomb, and alloy components with bolts, screws, and lock seams; apply riveting and soldering techniques. Manufacture, install, and repair cylindrical, square, and rectangular objects; select metal type/thickness, cut, bend, form, flange, and fit; repair dents, holes, and corrosion; fabricate reinforcing patch plates, doublers, and reinforcement angles; integrate fabricated and prefabricated parts into fully operational systems.
