The LAN Technician performs day-to-day computer network operations, including hardware or software support, planning, design, and implementing data connectivity for local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems, conducts network wiring plans and LAN or WAN hardware or software purchases, and conducts system installation, backup, maintenance, problem-solving, and network or remote connectivity hardware or software support. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about supporting the training of Soldiers and units on using Command and Control Information Systems (C2IS) such as Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), Mounted Mission Command-System (MMC-S), and Simulation Systems such as Joint Deployment Logistics Model (JDLM) and Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM).
