SUMMARY OF GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION: Under direct supervision, the General Production position performs work of moderate difficulty and repetitive assembly operations using hand tools and associated machinery and equipment to assist in the manufacturing and assembly of the full array of JELD-WEN products including, but not limited to, Windows, Exterior Doors, Interior Doors, Patio Doors, and all other JELD-WEN related building products. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of safety glasses, ear plugs, masks, steel toed boots/shoes, and associated safety equipment in order to be on the plant floor and assemble the product, and perform the job duties in a safe and efficient/effective manner; Reports unsafe conditions to appropriate supervision; Performs other duties as assigned by management.
