The Pediatric Pain and Palliative Care Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) utilizes a patient-centered coordinated care model, demonstrating competencies in leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation/collaboration, coaching/guiding, research, and ethical decision-making. The NP will be joining a team of 2 physicians, another APN, Nurse Navigator, Social Worker, Child Life Specialist and a psychologist, caring for children from birth to 22 years of age in both the inpatient (HUMC Children''s Hospital) and outpatient setting.
