Specific teaching responsibilities of this role include: In LCPS' Elementary instructional model, teachers in grades TK-2 teach all subjects in a self-contained classroom, and in grades 3-5, teachers team teach in a more departmentalized setting ELA/Humanities, Math, Science, Fitness, PE, and Arts, allowing teachers to specialize in fewer content areas taught to two classes of students per grade.
