Become a part of our dynamic team and we'll help you develop your career to a level that will exceed your expectations.Pay, benefits and more.We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and more.What you'll do on a typical day: <ul><li>Act as a liaison for Transportation, Operations, carriers, vendors and customers</li><li>Lead and supervise transportation staff, including training and evaluating employee performance</li><li>Recommend or initiate hiring, promotions, transfers or disciplinary actions</li><li>Perform the routing, planning, updating and/or tracking duties of orders and shipments</li><li>Complete the analysis and resolution of carrier performance and compliance issues</li><li>Track and trace shipments for customers to ensure on-time, accurate and satisfactory deliveries; provide updates as needed</li><li>Investigate and resolve issues submitted by customers, carriers and/or clients; provide follow-up and reporting as required</li><li>Correctly maintain and generate required reports; properly process, audit and file various documentation</li></ul>What you need to succeed at GXO:At a minimum, you'll need: <ul><li>2 years of transportation or supply chain experience</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows applications with the ability to create complex formulas in Excel</li></ul>It'd be great if you also have: <ul><li>Bachelor's degree</li><li>1 year of supervisory experience</li><li>Strong leadership and collaboration skills with experience effectively supervising, coaching and influencing employees</li></ul>This job requires the ability to: <ul><li>Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 25 lbs.</li><li>Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time</li><li>Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel</li><li>Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments</li></ul>We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers. Job Summary The primary purpose of the Lead Associate, Warehouse Operations is to support the Warehouse Supervisor through either inbound management of the warehouse floor and to facilitate effective warehouse operations through direction of warehouse staff, in accordance with operational priorities. In addition, this job assists in coordination of receipt of shipments and scheduling of incoming trucks, as well as making internal appointments. This job also delegates work among the warehouse staff and produces reports on workforce productivity and quality. The Lead Associate, Warehouse Operations also communicates with customers outside the warehouse to communicate disruptions, provide updates on delivery timeframes and ensure customer satisfaction.Responsibilities<ul><li>Follows standard operating procedures to assess inventory levels, submit orders, and audit warehouse operations to facilitate successful operational activities within the warehouse.</li><li>Directs workflows on the floor of the warehouse, including unloading, receiving, product put away and managing of delivery schedule.</li><li>Analyzes internal data and reports on productivity and efficiency to help determine when and where the warehouse is performing better or worse than expected.</li><li>Coordinates with Warehouse Supervisors to align on warehouse and inventory priorities, in alignment with operational objectives.</li><li>Assists in inbound workload forecasting through historical and trend analysis to determine how labor should be utilized.</li><li>Assists in inventory management, and helps with stocking and shipping, as necessary.</li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>Bilingual (Spanish) preferred</li><li>4+ years of experience preferred</li><li>High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred</li><li>Previous material handling equipment experience (MHE) required, Order Selector and Reach preferred</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, organizational and follow up skills preferred</li><li>Proficient in AIMS preferred</li><li>Good communication skills </li><li>Radio frequency (RF) scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds</li><li>Cardinal Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
