The Outbound Assistant Manager assists the Outbound Manager in overseeing the shipping department of the facility within their respective shift, including picking, packing, and indirect positions, focusing on quality, accuracy, and providing excellent customer experience. The Outbound Assistant Manager works with the Outbound Manager to collaborate with leadership on other shifts/departments to ensure compliance with all protocol and SOP's, problem solving, and meet operational directives.
Establish strong business relationships (purposefully practice relationship management), communicate planned and unplanned outages effectively, and work with vendors, business partners, and IT to determine the most effective solution for Milwaukee Tool. + Ensure timely resolution of assigned tickets by focusing on meeting or exceeding SLAs, addressing “on hold” tickets, and prioritizing tickets open for more than 30 days.
