Responsibilities: • Represent GHD as the on-site primary liaison between the construction manager, Owner and the contractor throughout construction of the project • Provide on-site observation of construction activities including reviewing materials and installation against contract documents and approved submittals for civil, piping, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls • Document activities including written daily reports and photographs • Contribute to weekly coordination meetings with the Contractor, Owner, and other stakeholders • Coordinate and oversee third-party materials testing, including but not limited to soils and concrete • Play a lead role in observing and reporting on site non-compliances to assure excellent site safety and quality management • Communicate and coordinate with the other multi-discipline project teams including clients and external bodies. Performance Management: Respond to personal objectives and use performance management systems to improve personal performance; or monitor the performance of the team, allocate work and review completion, take appropriate corrective action to ensure timeliness and quality, and contribute to formal individual performance management and appraisal.
