This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px">Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.</li></ul> This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. <hr style="border:none;border-top:1px solid #ccc;margin:16px 0"/>Responsibilities:<ul><li style="margin-bottom:8px">Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px">Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px">Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, facility issues, and/or potential policy violations.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px">Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials or visitor authorization as directed by site procedures, and help support access control expectations for sensitive work areas.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px">Support day-to-day operations by completing required logs, incident reports, and/or shift communications while maintaining a professional presence and following post instructions.</li></ul><hr style="border:none;border-top:1px solid #ccc;margin:16px 0"/> Minimum Requirements:<ul><li style="margin-bottom:8px">A New York State Security Guard License is required.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px">A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px">Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px">Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px">As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px">Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px">As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px">Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px">A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.</li></ul><hr style="border:none;border-top:1px solid #ccc;margin:16px 0"/>Why Join Us:<ul><li style="margin-bottom:8px">Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px">Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px">Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.</li><li style="margin-bottom:8px">Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.</li></ul><hr style="border:none;border-top:1px solid #ccc;margin:16px 0"/>
