The 5 West unit is a 40-bed non-specialty med-surg unit that cares for patients ages 18 and older with a variety of medical and telemetry needs, including acute and chronic illnesses such as sepsis, respiratory issues, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine problems, cardiac diseases, and COVID-19. You will work alongside Lead Nurses, Virtual Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Nursing Assistants to achieve a common goal of exceptional patient care.
