(2) producing sufficient product at budgeted rates to meet sales demands; (3) ensuring the quality of products produced; (4) sustaining good employee communication and morale to ensure a motivated and productive labor force, (5) promoting and facilitating the progress of High Performance Work Systems within the department, and (6) performing other duties as assigned.<h3>Responsibilities</h3>Production<ul><li>Maintains necessary control of production flow to ensure that schedules will be maintained.</li><li>Coordinates with maintenance department personnel to schedule maintenance and repairs of production equipment and facilities.</li><li>Prepares operating schedules to insure efficient production levels</li><li>Controls all direct labor and material cost in area.</li><li>Performs new equipment and facilities evaluation and recommends the disposition of worn or obsolete material/equipment in order to improve upon capacity and cost goals.</li><li>Helps plan and execute special projects and evaluations</li></ul>Quality Assurance<ul><li>Ensures that products or raw materials (packaging supplies) meet established quality standards, fully utilizing recognized control systems and procedures.</li><li>Maintains contact with the Quality Assurance Department and Sales for clarification of customer requirements.
