In this position employees will use the following types of equipment; grinders, mills, bores, lathes, saws, shears, punches, drills, filers, sanders, drill presses, albor presses, hydraulic presses, polishers, demagnetizers, lifts, hoists, and carriers. Tool Makers often work in production areas outside of the Tool Room to troubleshoot dies and tooling in personnel must comply with safety and work rules for the area they are working in, and follow all required safety practices.
