Current successful completion of the following Facility Security Officer courses: Essentials of Industrial Security Management, FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities, PII, Cybersecurity, ITPSO, Counterintelligence, Special Access Programs and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility Management. The FSO will serve as the liaison with US government counterparts, conduct security briefings and debriefings, monitor classified controlled areas, manage deputy FSOs in other locations, and perform periodic self-inspections.
