Assists nursing staff with patient care by making patient beds, giving baths, passing waters, feeding patients, providing oral care, accurate Intake & Output, assisting with mobilization/ambulation, daily weights, performing bedside glucose testing and obtaining vital signs and any other duties assigned by the RN. Position Summary: Under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs the receptionist and secretarial duties on the unit assigned and meets the communication needs of the patient (family, departmental staff and medical staff).
