Licensure: Nurse, Registered (RN) Education/Experience Required: -BSN -5 years of clinical experience -3 years of leadership experience Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: -Organizational planning and delegation skill -Proficient communication, team building, and leadership skills -Basic computer knowledge and skills -Strong drive to achieve superior results -Current RN license in the state of Illinois -BLS (CPR) required -ACLS preferred Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: -Ability to work in a fast paced environment with established time constraints Ability to work under stressful conditions and in difficult situations -Ability to prioritize independently and respond to multiple simultaneous requests -Ability to work weekends and off-shifts, etc, to meet departmental needs -May be exposed to bodily fluids, hazardous materials or life threatening diseases. 1)Recruits, selects, mentors, and motivates direct reports to achieve patient centered care, professional, and personnel goals and objectives 2)Assist and support staff in developing and maintaining competency through orientation, educational offerings, workshops, interdisciplinary meetings and self-directed learning.
