INVENTORY SPECIALIST II - FLEET City of Manchester NHINVENTORY SPECIALIST II - FLEETManchester, NH$25.72–$28.95 / hourEXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL WORK: Maintains, receives, issues, stocks, and establishes a warehouse of inventory items; Requisitions supplies and equipment, including requesting bids; Maintains a thorough and accurate inventory of all items within the warehouse, including receiving, issuing, and filling requisitions for inventory items; Bills parts to proper vehicles and/or accounts; Resolves issues with vendors and customers and makes necessary corrections; Purchases hand and power tools for use in maintenance operations; Coordinates services with outside contractors, including electrical, plumbing, floor covering, HVAC, and related maintenance operations; Issues purchase orders; Delivers parts as needed; Issues tools, supplies, and equipment to designated personnel; Ensures a clean, safe, and operational warehouse environment; Operates a forklift, hand truck and various hand tools as needed; Provides guidance and demonstrations to new employees in similar positions; Keeps supervisors informed of work progress, issues, and potential solutions; Attends meetings and training to stay current on relevant practices and developments; Responds to citizen inquiries courteously and promptly; Coordinates regularly with others to enhance interdepartmental efficiency; and.
