The role provides direct patient care while assisting the nurse manager in daily operations, including coordination of patient care and outcomes, allocation of human and fiscal resources, communication, patient throughput, program development and oversight, rounding with patients, physicians, and staff, as well as staff selection, development, and retention. Our multidisciplinary team-comprising of surgical and medical oncologists, advanced practical providers, pharmacists, nurse navigators, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, care coordinators, and social workers-work collaboratively to deliver patient-centered cancer care.
