The Addiction Therapist provides emotional or mental health therapy or counseling in an outpatient setting, facilitates therapy sessions for patients, assesses mental or emotional disorders, gathers and interprets social, personal, environmental and health information, develops treatment plans and individual goals, and modifies plans over time in response to patient progress. Temple Health consists of Temple University Hospital (TUH), Fox Chase Cancer Center, TUH-Jeanes Campus, TUH-Episcopal Campus, TUH-Northeastern Campus, Temple Physicians, Inc., and Temple Transport Team.
