MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: operating fixed and portable radiographic equipment to perform routine and moderately complex diagnostic examinations; positioning patients and selecting technical factors to produce diagnostic-quality images; assisting with fluoroscopic and contrast procedures under supervision; and maintaining radiology records, examination files, and workload data. Note: Certain exceptions may apply: 1) Individuals employed by the Federal Government as radiologic personnel before January 13, 1986, may qualify based on evidence of current or satisfactory performance, or certification from a licensed practitioner authorized to prescribe radiologic procedures (such as a physician, osteopath, dentist, podiatrist, or chiropractor).
