Essential Duties:Operate City vehicles and other motorized equipment including lifts of many kindsCheck various equipment gauges and instruments and maintain proper levels of water, oil, fluids, and air pressurePerform electrical work using test devices to determine circuitry problems and make wiring repairs and replacementPerform plumbing maintenance including, but not limited to unclogging drains and repairing or replacing pipes and fixtures to stop leaksRepair roofs using hand tools and hot or cold adhesive mixturesPerform drywall installation and patching, painting, carpentry, carpet, tile, and other floor installations as neededCheck HVAC units and thermostats for operation, clean or replace HVAC filters, belts, motors, etc.
