Train monitor techs in the areas of telemetry, rhythm interpretation, documentation, and notification procedures, Review, record, and document new and current monitor tech work efforts including review of rhythm interpretation, notifications to nursing units, and documentation, Maintain documentation for monitor techs to support required reviews and evaluations as performed by unit leadership, Review daily strip interpretations with new orientee monitor techs and communicate opportunities for improvement. In addition to the duties of the Monitor Technician, reading and interpreting heart rhythms, documents in EPIC charting communication with nursing staff, oversees the daily work flow of the Monitor Techs including scheduling and staffing, and serves as a training resource.
