Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA strongly preferred)7+ years of progressive experience in insurance accounting, reinsurance accounting, and/or public accounting with insurance clientsStrong knowledge of reinsurance structures, including treaty and facultative arrangementsSolid understanding of U.S. GAAP and statutory accounting principles applicable to insurance organizationsExperience with financial close processes, account reconciliations, and audit supportAdvanced Excel skills; experience with insurance accounting systems or ERPs is a plusProven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work cross?functionallyStrong analytical, communication, and documentation skillsAbility to operate independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
