Skills required include dysrhythmia interpretation, rapid response team utilization, feeding tube care, port access, blood product administration, central/peripheral/PICC line care, IV starts, heparin protocols, non-titrated cardiac drip management, PCA management, chest tube care (Emerson/Pleur-evac), external CPAP/BiPAP, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, nasal cannula use, and tracheostomy management. Preferred skills include dysrhythmia management, IV insulin protocols, insulin drip titration, phlebotomy, chemotherapy administration and monitoring, wound care/wound vac, arterial line management, surgical drain care, and non-invasive airway management.
