Maintain and document consultation and/or staffings with relevant personnel, i.e., Licensed Mental Health Clinician (for dual diagnosed substance use/mental health clients), contracting agencies (Bureau of Prison and US Probation department), Reentry Case Managers (RCM), and Correctional Monitors (CM) to support an integrated treatment approach, as appropriate. The Certified Addiction Counselor provides quality, evidence-based substance abuse treatment services to increase client understanding of substance use addiction/recovery, use of skills that lead to a reduction in substance use, relapse, recidivism and support sobriety efforts.
