You qualify for the GS-13 level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level performing duties such as: Implementing guidance for applying security policies, procedures, techniques, equipment, and methods to a variety of work situations with differing degrees/levels of security controls (e.g., Control Tactics; Firearms; Physical Skills; or equivalent investigative/protective methods/ techniques); Participating in the design, development, and delivery of training instruction and course materials for criminal investigators, law enforcement officers, and administrative, professional, and technical staff; AND. Current competitive service Federal employees with career or career-conditional tenure, Agency/ lnteragency Career Transition Assistance Program eligibles (CTAP/ICTAP), Reinstatement, Land and Base Management, Schedule A (Persons with Disabilities), 30% or More Disabled Veterans, Military Spouses, OPM Interchange Agreements, Veterans Employment Opportunities Act eligibles.
