Responsibilities include blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, CVA/Stroke management, external ventricular drain (EVD) management, hypothermia protocol, ICP monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, lumbar drains, post-neurosurgery care, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and utilization of specialized equipment. Additional information: Interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary.
