The specialist maintains stakeholder communication records, coordinates milestone notifications, assists with issue resolution and escalation management, develops communication materials, and supports implementation of the Richmond-specific Communications and Community Engagement Plan to promote transparency, maintain community confidence, and minimize stakeholder-related project risks. This role coordinates public outreach activities, community meetings, stakeholder briefings, project communications, and engagement initiatives involving local governments, neighboring property owners, community associations, economic development organizations, emergency response agencies, educational institutions, and other interested stakeholders.
