Provide comprehensive nursing care and education for patients from newborn through young adulthood with acute and chronic non-malignant hematologic conditions, including sickle cell disease, anemia, bleeding and coagulation disorders, platelet disorders, and neutropenia. Collaborate with patients, families, providers, pharmacies, schools, community providers, and other members of the healthcare team to promote safe, coordinated, patient- and family-centered care.
