What you'll do Perform minor to intermediate inspections, repairs, and replacements on Walmart equipment (trailers, tractors, yard trucks, shop equipment, service vehicles) Create and process work orders; assess needs, identify parts, consult as needed, and select repair solutions Conduct minor diagnostics using technical/electronic equipment on engines, electronics, drivetrains, communication/onboard technology, and minor HVAC Receive fuel drops, monitor safety compliance, and collect/prepare fuel samples and required paperwork Identify warrantable repairs and complete accurate maintenance entries, warranty tags, parts retention, and warranty claims per guidelines What you'll bring Experience performing minor to intermediate mechanical repairs on tractors, trailers, or similar equipment Ability to use diagnostic tools/technical equipment to troubleshoot engines, electronics, drivetrains, and minor HVAC Knowledge of DOT-related requirements and safe shop practices in daily work Strong documentation skills for work orders, maintenance system entries, and warranty-related records Familiarity with identifying warrantable work and following parts retention and warranty claim processes At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
