The Faculty & Provider Recruiter must maintain key working relationships with the Rush University Medical Center, Rush Oak Park Hospital, and Rush Copley Medical Center: Department Heads, Primary and Specialty Care, Clinic Chiefs of Professional Services, Hospital, Clinic and Departmental Administrative Management, administrative and support staff, Rush University Medical Center residency and fellowship programs, regional and national physician associations and societies, independent recruitment firms (temporary and permanent provider staffing), and external vendors (ie., advertising agencies, moving companies, realtors). Provide consultative service regarding budgetary guidelines as they relate to: consulting with Associate Medical Directors regarding the addition of positions to departments under their supervision; collaborating with Department Heads and Chiefs of Professional Services regarding the ability to hire versus clinic/department budget; developing and placing associated advertising; advising Department Heads in candidate salary offer negotiations; negotiating candidate household moving estimates with national moving companies; etc.
