This role is ideal for those that are looking for a personalized work schedule.As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but rather will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members (via our myTime mobile scheduling app) that work best with your schedule.When you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary.We also ask for your active engagement by picking up and working shifts once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Flexibility can be granted in certain circumstances, but you need to respond to our attempts to contact you to confirm your interest in working shifts at Target. If you do not respond to our attempts at contact, your employment may be terminated. Additionally, if you do not work at least one shift within 5 months, your employment with Target will be administratively terminated.Your communication and ability to work when our business demands it most are critical to your success in this role.Should you be offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule to ensure you are properly prepared for your new role. The role of a Guest Advocate can provide you with the skills and experience of:<ul><li>Communicating and interacting with guests to build an inclusive guest experience</li><li>Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns</li><li>Adapting to different guest interactions and situations</li><li>Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services</li></ul>As a Guest Advocate, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:<ul><li>Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.\u202f</li><li>Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.</li><li>When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.</li><li>Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.</li><li>Thank guests and let them know we're happy they chose to shop at Target.</li><li>Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.</li><li>Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.</li><li>Make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events.</li><li>Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed. This leadership role serves as an advocate for residents while helping coordinate services that promote emotional well-being, dignity, and quality of life. Working closely with the interdisciplinary care team, the Director of Social Services develops and supports individualized care and discharge plans, supervises social services staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and community partners. Through strong leadership and collaboration, this position helps create a positive resident experience and supports the facility's commitment to exceptional care.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li style="color:black">Assumes responsibility for admission process for new residents as described in Section B of the Social Services Department Manual.</li><li style="color:black">Serves as the Unit Social Worker for designated residents as described in Section B of the Social Services Department Manual, or delegates this responsibility according to current staffing pattern.</li><li style="color:black">Serves as the Discharge Planner of the facility as described in Section B of the Social Services Manual; completes SCREEN upon discharge of resident.</li><li style="color:black">Coordinates PASARR Level II Annual Review of residents.</li><li style="color:black">Implements and oversees the policies and procedures of the Social Services Department in the areas of admission, social work, transfer and discharge services.</li><li style="color:black">Participates in development of a comprehensive, inter-disciplinary health care and discharge plan for residents; attends Resident Care Planning and Resident/ Family Care Plan Review meetings and informs other disciplines of residents or family members who plan to attend.</li><li style="color:black">Provides support and assistance to the Unit Social Worker in work with residents and families.</li><li style="color:black">Supervises and evaluates the performances of the social services staff.</li><li style="color:black">Works with the Social Work Consultant in matters of social services intervention or consultation.</li><li style="color:black">Ensures all necessary documentation required for the Social Services Department.</li><li style="color:black">Interprets to the professional staff of the facility the purpose and objectives of the Social Services Department.</li><li style="color:black">Explains the Bill of Rights for Residents and Resident Abuse Reporting at General Orientation meetings, as scheduled.</li><li style="color:black">Coordinates facility cooperation with the Ombudsman.</li></ul> 

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Baccalaureate Degree in social work or a related field from an accredited institution. </li><li>Casework experience required. </li><li>Casework with the elderly or work in a supervisory capacity requiring initiative and responsiveness to the needs of others preferred. </li><li>Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required. </li><li>Ability to meet the public easily, handle problems diplomatically, and cooperate with other staff members necessary. </li><li>Evidence of professional growth, continuing education and community involvement considered.</li><li>This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.</li></ul>
