This role will work closely with a team of engineers to provide mechanical design, analysis, and technical support for a variety of industrial projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically skilled, and comfortable collaborating with both internal teams and external clients while supporting projects from concept through completion.<h3> Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li> Collaborate with a team of engineers to develop mechanical engineering designs and provide technical support.</li><li> Work within established project schedules and deadlines to ensure timely project completion.</li><li> Review and apply approved design criteria, codes, and industry standards.</li><li> Analyze project scope and clearly define engineering deliverables.</li><li> Develop and review engineering calculations related to mechanical system design.</li><li> Prepare technical reports outlining design criteria, equipment analysis, and engineering recommendations.</li><li> Review drawings and documentation for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.</li><li> Communicate with clients to review project progress, discuss technical issues, and coordinate deliverables.</li><li> Travel to client sites as needed to attend meetings, collect field information, and support project activities.</li></ul><h3> Qualifications</h3><ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Professional licensure not required).</li><li> 3 5 years of experience applying mechanical engineering principles in an industrial environment.</li><li> Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.</li><li> Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modeling software.</li><li> Experience working within heavy industrial or manufacturing facilities is preferred.</li><li> Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.</li><li> Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.</li></ul></div><img alt="A blue and white logo

Identify project phases, technical requirements, and resource needs.
Manage major mechanical capital investment projects to ensure completion on time, within budget, and achieving ROI.
Supervise contracted mechanical resources with strict adherence to safety procedures (toolbox talks, daily permits, continuous supervision).
Lead and support mechanical maintenance projects to resolve issues across the mill.
Maintain mechanical technical documents, schematics, and prints and ensure accessibility for plant personnel.
Manage mechanical disciplines of approved capital projects and support cross-functional engineering initiatives.
Provide daily mechanical troubleshooting and technical support to mill personnel.
Manage and maintain all mechanical documentation, manuals, and prints.What Sets You ApartStrong communication skills.
Advanced mechanical engineering knowledge and application.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Project.
Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment.
Willingness to travel 10% for supplier visits, acceptance tests, and benchmarking.Education & Experience RequiredBachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
5-7 years project management experience preferred.
5-10 years mill or heavy industrial experience preferred.
Training in project management.
2-5 years specialized training on high-voltage or mechanical equipment.
