A Successful Production Manager will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field, 5+ years of production leadership experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing, demonstrated experience leading large manufacturing teams, strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies, experience with production planning, scheduling, and KPI management, ability to drive safety, quality, and operational excellence initiatives, strong communication and leadership skills, and U.S. citizenship or ability to obtain required security clearance, if applicable. This Production Manager will be responsible for managing daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, and delivery objectives, leading and developing production supervisors and manufacturing personnel, driving continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste, coordinating production schedules and resource allocation to meet customer demand, monitoring key performance metrics and implementing corrective actions as required, and collaborating with engineering, quality, supply chain, and program teams to support operational goals.
