Lead mechanical design from initial concept through detailed design and production, including requirements analysis, layout development, 3D modeling, material and component selection, tolerance and fit analysis, structural evaluation, prototyping, design reviews, testing, and refinement for, reliability, safety, and performance. Verify equipment installation, system interfaces, functional response, and display indications against defined requirements and acceptance criteria; collect and analyze test data; document results and discrepancies; and support fault isolation, corrective action, and regression testing.
