Contribute to the development and improvement of courses, programs, and School initiatives Collaborate with faculty, staff, alumni, and the business community to advance the School's mission Provide service to the Department, School, University, profession, and broader community, and share expertise through scholarly and professional outlets Education / Experience Required Qualifications Proof of permanent right to work in the US on first day of employment A terminal degree in management, marketing, or related field from an accredited institution Must have earned tenure at another institution or minimally hold the rank of associate professor A distinguished record of scholarship Evidence of teaching effectiveness and the use of innovative and engaging teaching practices Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience with course scheduling, curriculum and program development, promotion and tenure processes, hiring, faculty mentoring, and faculty evaluations A successful track record in leading others and inspiring and managing change A commitment to develop and maximize faculty members' capabilities in their pursuits to achieving excellence in teaching and scholarship Evidence of collaboration and a commitment to the University's shared governance model Professional experience in related fields of business Active membership in academic and business associations/organizations A current research record consistent with being classified as Scholarly Academic Competencies / Skills Essential competencies and skills include: Ability to develop and assess course learning outcomes and knowledge competencies Conflict management and resolution Deep respect for and engagement with students A demonstrated commitment to the principles of multiculturalism/diversity/inclusive excellence Ability to conduct original research and mentor others in their research endeavors Ability to work with people with different learning/work styles and needs Ability to connect with the business community to advance the visibility and success of the school Ongoing professional development in pedagogy and instructional innovation. Work Location 3690 East Ave., Rochester, NY 14618 FLSA Exempt Salary / Hourly Range $110,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year Note The salary range for this role is set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, qualifications, experience, and education.
