Good knowledge of livestock (beef, dairy, or equine), dairy farms, milk processing facilities, or sanitation compliance experience relating to animal production or food safety, typically gained through at least one (1) year experience working on a feedlot, ranch, dairy farm, horse farm, milk processing facility, dairy supply company, or environmental compliance relating to animal production; OR a minimum of twenty four (24) credits relating to animal or dairy production, veterinary science, livestock production, agriculture economics, or food processing. Experience in Compliance Inspections: Typically gained by having familiarity in the inspection process, preferably within a government context with experience using a checklist of requirements and/or regulations, systematically reviewing each item to verify that the object, person, or process being inspected meets the specified criteria for each item.
