As the University's lead advocate for Black Male Engagement initiatives, the CBME will serve as the primary liaison to programs and partners such as Men of Xavier, University Athletics, NPHC fraternities, mentorship organizations, faith-based and community groups, and national initiatives including organizations similar to 100 Black Men of America, Son of a Saint, and Kingmakers of Oakland. Through these strategic partnerships, the CBME will create opportunities for mentorship, leadership development, academic support, civic engagement, and professional networking designed to promote an ecosystem of belonging and leadership that supports Black male persistence from retention through alumni hood.
