This includes the central utility plant; heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems (including various tonnage chiller units with associated equipment); electrical distribution systems (including emergency electrical power generating equipment as well as medium voltage distribution system); domestic hot and cold water systems; laboratory vacuum systems; ultrapure water systems; medical gas and vacuum systems; compressed air systems; natural gas distribution systems; fire protection systems (including fire pumps, wet suppression systems, fixed chemical systems, and portable fire extinguishers); fire detection and alarm systems (to include Information Management systems, Fire Alarm Control Panels, and mass communication systems); steam distribution systems; irrigation systems; sanitary sewer systems; and storm sewer systems. This involves highly technical work in the installation, set-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of moderately complex building systems level controls (i.e. Field Controller Networks (FCN), Air handling units (AHUs), terminal units Variable air volume (VAV) and Constant air volume (CAV), exhaust fans, chillers, boilers, pumps, compressors, energy recovery units, etc.) and industrial instrumentation installation and calibration.
