<h2>Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine)</h2>Rockville Internal Medicine Group is a respected and well-established practice that has been serving the Rockville community for over 40 years. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care, emphasizing wellness, prevention, and the coordinated management of chronic conditions. Location: Rockville, MD ScheduleThis is a full-time position:<ul><li>Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.<ul><li>Please note: We are not considering alternative or part-time schedules at this time.</li></ul></li></ul>Scope of Practice & Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage a patient panel consisting of individuals aged 18 and older.</li><li>Providing comprehensive primary medical care, including physical examinations, preventative screenings, and wellness counseling.</li><li>Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses.</li><li>Ordering, interpreting, and following up on diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, imaging).</li><li>Developing and implementing evidence-based patient treatment plans.</li><li>Coordinating care with specialists and other healthcare professionals.</li><li>Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 2 years of residency completion) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.</li><li>Currently Licensed in Maryland or demonstrate a willingness and ability to obtain a Maryland medical license.</li><li>A Positive Attitude and a genuine passion for continuity of care and building long-term patient relationships.</li></ul>What We OfferWe believe in supporting our physicians professionally and personally. LBH is seeking a Chief of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to provide strategic direction and leadership of the Rehabilitation Institute at Sinai Hospital (RIS), the flagship program for the organization, and the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) services across the health system. ----------Over the past 60 years, RIS has become a destination center for advanced, interdisciplinary rehabilitation of individuals with complex impairments. There are more than 200 staff including nearly 150 therapists, many acquiring specialty and subspecialty certifications. There are 15 PMR board-certified Physiatrists also holding subspecialty certifications, including brain injury, spinal cord injury, pain medicine, electrodiagnostic medicine, independent medical evaluator, and integrative medicine.Responsibilities
-----------------The Chief of PM&R oversees all activities that set and support the strategic mission of the Institute, which is driven by the quadruple aim of clinical excellence, teaching, research, and advocacy. This includes:<ul><li>Advocating for appropriate staff expertise through professional growth and lifelong learning</li><li>Coordinating and communicating the needs of the Institute to build a regional and national brand</li><li>Developing the next generation of physicians and rehab professionals through teaching programs</li><li>Building on the strong foundation of the ABBEL Research division to support best practice and evidence for the effectiveness of Rehabilitation</li></ul>Qualifications
--------------<ul><li>Board Certified in PMR</li><li>Additional subspecialty certification a plus</li><li>7-10 years of administrative and clinical leadership experience</li><li>Previous chair or vice chair experience preferred but emerging leader with appropriate experience will be considered</li><li>Participation at the national level in the field of PMR</li><li>Research experience with a track record of presentations and publications</li><li>Experience with cultivating an environment of diversity, quality, teamwork, growth, and improvement</li></ul>Benefits
