Education Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field • Experience Combination of education and/or equivalent work experience in a related field 2-5 years of progressive space planning/buying/inventory management experience for a retail optical chain, specialty retailer, department store or big-box chain • Skills Experience in retail merchandising or store management is a plus Project management knowledge and experience Detail oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills Strong interpersonal skills to flourish in a matrix environment Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong analytical skills, financial aptitude, and business acumen Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs Experience in Microsoft PowerBI is a plus. • Physical Requirements Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization through written and two-way verbal communication Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time Able to operate various office equipment (e.g., personal computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, etc.) Able to read and write at a high school graduate level Able to lift 10 to 20 pounds Able to work normal and/or extended (evenings, nights, and weekends) office hours to meet established deadlines Able to travel independently to support Company objectives and personal development.
