Ability to operate all custodial cleaning equipment, particularly floor care equipment; ability to work on ladders; ability to run and maintain snow blowers, lawn mowers and other lawn care equipment; ability to safely work on scaffolding, and lifts; knowledge in electricity (run and test circuits, etc.) plumbing, carpentry, gas powered motors, pumps, tractors, trucks, snowplowing, roofing, and blueprint reading; ability to relate well to other employees, students, parents and community members. Keeps school buildings and grounds in clean, orderly, safe, and operational condition and tends to HVAC Systems to provide heat, cool or fresh air, and hot water for students, faculty, staff, and visitors and keeps external grounds neat, clean and safe and possess the ability to use tools and equipment necessary to carry out this job assignment.
