Examples include patients undergoing abdominal, orthopedic, vascular, neurosurgical, ENT, urologic procedures trauma, obstetrics, and non-operating-room anesthesia in patients who are healthy or medically complex. Faculty advance along a defined academic track with support for promotion, and leadership roles are available in resident education, quality and safety, perioperative medicine, regional anesthesia, research, and department administration.
