NewVeterinary Internship (ER), Mount Laurel Animal Hospital Dvm LaunchVeterinary Internship (ER), Mount Laurel Animal HospitalMount Laurel, New JerseyProgram Description:• Duration: 13 months• Objective: To develop well -rounded, confident emergency veterinarians through comprehensive clinical exposure and mentorship• Shift Structure: The schedule is divided evenly among four shift type, daytime ER, overnight ER, hospitalist, and specialty block• Hours: Three consecutive 12 -hour shifts per week, with an additional surgery day during hospitalist and daytime ER rotations (average 42 hours/week)• Active participation in ER departmental meetings, Fellow Rounds, lectures, journal clubs, and Morbidity & Mortality rounds• Mentorship: One -on -one mentorship on every case, with interns maintaining primary case responsibility• Species Exposure: Interns manage canine, feline, and exotic emergency cases.
