Requirements for the Apartment Maintenance Technician: High school diploma or GED AND 2 years of maintenance experience, or 1 year of experience in electrical, HVAC, and plumbing and 6 months specific education in one of the following trades: Electricity; HVAC; Plumbing/Fitting; or Carpentry. The Apartment Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and timely response to service requests involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general building systems to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained living environment for residents.
