As an Echo Tech on our team, your tasks and responsibilities include: Perform special non-invasive procedures, mount the findings, and ready the results for the physician to read Complete all paperwork in the Meditech & PACS computer system Maintain accountability for his/her own knowledge and skills, and supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the hospital Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to life threatening situations Must be able to perform special non-invasive procedures (M-Mode, 2-D, TEE, Doppler, Color-Flow, Stress Echo, Cardiac Stress, Electrocardiograms, Signal averaged Electrocardiograms and Holter Monitoring) Qualifications: Graduate of a Vocational/Technical School program for Echocardiogram Technicians RVT certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Meditech knowledge 1 to 3 years of experience Benefits HCA Florida Largo Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
