Job Summary: Under the immediate supervision of the Department Administrator or Coordinating Optometrist, performs the necessary duties relating to the Contact Lens Technician position; which includes insertion and removal of patients contact lenses; patient contact lense insertion and removal training; routine contact lense cleaning and trial fitting sets as appropriate; notifying patients when contact lenses are ready; ordering, receiving and maintaining contact lens and supplies inventory; making contact lens appointment as appropriate; general office duties.
