We will provide all of the equipment, training, data sources, and software for real estate review appraisers who have an eagerness and passion for ensuring that appraisal reports meet our strong quality assurance standards. This position will provide experienced real estate reviewers with an opportunity for professional growth within a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly-collaborative team. Job Responsibilities:<ul><li> Performing reviews of appraisal reports for multifamily residential (5+ units) and/or commercial properties to determine the credibility of market values developed for financially-related transactions in accordance with internal appraisal policies/procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (USPAP & FIRREA). </li><li> Using risk-based decisions, work with stakeholders to ensure that appraisal reviews are complete, accurate, adequate, relevant, and reasonable based on sound real estate appraisal methodology. </li><li> Learning and performing the administrative tasks that drive the CRE Appraisal Review process. </li><li> Continual development of local market knowledge and national real estate trends. </li></ul>Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills: <ul><li> A 4-year college degree.</li><li> State Certified General Appraiser License .</li><li> Minimum 10 years' experience appraising and/or reviewing complex multifamily residential, mixed-use, and/or commercial properties.</li><li> Strong analytical, business writing, and oral communication skills are a must.</li><li> Computer/technology knowledge is required as well as a proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook (Microsoft Office Suite).</li><li> Ability to multi-task and elevate critical issues in a timely manner.</li><li> Must be self-motivated and manage time efficiently to meet service-level deadlines.</li><li> Strong critical thinking and problem solving.</li><li> Understanding of various construction types and mechanical systems as well as hazards such as flood, environmental, earthquake, and zoning conditions.</li><li> Ability to analyze properties with complex characteristics.</li><li> Superior knowledge of local real estate metro areas and neighborhood.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills: <ul><li> MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute or equivalent credential.</li><li> Comprehensive knowledge or certification of DCF software.</li><li> National Review experience is a plus.</li><li> Significant experience appraising or reviewing for financial institutions.</li></ul>JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P. This role acts as a liaison between buyers, Sales, Construction, Accounting, Title, Lenders, Appraisers, and Municipalities while maintaining compliance, organization, and exceptional service.The ideal candidate will be highly organized, solution-oriented, and aligned with our company’s values.Essential ResponsibilitiesEmbody and promote our core values: Grit, Coachable, Find a Way, No Eeyores and We Care<ul><li>Maintain reliable, punctual attendance and a high level of professionalism.</li><li>Communicate clearly and courteously with homeowners, team members, trade partners, and external partners via phone, email, and in person.</li></ul>Sales Contract Administration<ul><li>Receive, review, and process all sales contracts for accuracy.</li><li>Ensure proper entry of contract data into the production management system.</li><li>Maintain and update versions of contract forms, addenda, and required documentation.</li><li>Oversee and track terminated contracts.</li><li>Maintain accurate physical and digital contract files.</li><li>Update and maintain marketing materials as homes contract and close.</li><li>Communicate and provide executed documents/community information timely via NoviHome, to the homebuyer</li></ul>Closing Coordination<ul><li>Coordinate closing timelines with buyers, Sales, Construction, Title, Lenders, and other partners.</li><li>Gather, organize, and upload all documentation required for closing (e.g., warranty applications, settlement statements, certificates, inspections).</li><li>Approve and coordinate execution of Seller’s Closing Disclosures and settlement documents with title companies.</li><li>Support appraisers and lenders by providing requested documentation and comparable sales.</li><li>Update and distribute weekly closing and backlog reports for leadership.</li><li>Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve accuracy, timelines, and the buyer experience.</li></ul>Starts Coordination / Pre-Construction<ul><li>Receive, review, and organize incoming sales files to prepare complete starts packets.</li><li>Ensure accuracy and usability of all files for Construction.</li><li>Order and review lot-specific plans to confirm alignment with contract details and customer selections.</li><li>Apply for and track permits;
