Initiates and maintains advanced ventilation modes to include monitoring of cardiovascular parameters for patients on mechanical ventilation and implements techniques such as Bilevel, PC, CPAP, IMV, HFOV, BIPAP, Heliox, Nitric Oxide, arterial line insertion, and transports, etc. Plans, demonstrates, articulates, and coordinates the care and interventions of the patient that include consideration of specific-age related characteristics, needs related physical development, motor control, communication, socialization, and safety, in collaboration with other members of the health care team.
